What's up guys. I've had an FR-S for quite some time now, and I decided to give the forum a try. currently, my FR-S is down since I am modding it; I'm working on adding a turbo kit, oil cooler, full exhaust, coilovers, 18x9.5 wheels, 255/35/18 tires, 1000cc injectors, and 91/E85 custom tune. It was fully stock before last Sunday.

What's going on everyone! I'm new here and just got my 2013 Ultramarine Scion FR-S (coming from a Scion tC) on August 1st :-)
I live in Ohio and I'm not really familiar with doing any aftermarket stuff to a car myself. I also don't know many car people here either so any help with ideas/ tips would be appreciated.
Real quick before I go I want to tell you guys about my crappy start to owning this car. As I said I got it Saturday August 1st and was super excited! I drove around all weekend showing friends & family the car. Well, Monday came around and it was back to work. So as I'm working a storm moved in (pretty much just in the area where I work) it was coming down BAD! I didn't even realize until after the fact that we got hail. I went outside to help a truck driver out with his doors and we started picking up hail the size of golf balls :-(
As you can guess by now my car got hit HARD! I actually thought I got off pretty lucky because at night I could only see 1 dent but then the next day came, it was all over. My hood got it the worse, at least 27 there alone.
So yeah, sorry for a long post but had to get that off my chest. It sucks but it's life and things happen. I made a claim and it'll get repaired soon. After that I plan to get started on a few small things I want to do to my car.

Sucks about the hail, hope everything works out. Some tips? Explore the forum! Lots to be learned, only thing it costs is your time. I am not a mechanically inclined person when it comes to cars but I've learned so much just by reading.

Welcome to the forum.

Mikie916 here from Sacto, Ca. I traded in my 2013 FRS for a 2016. The dealer paid me to take it, really.
Waiting to see next years revamp of the FRS. Maybe trade again?

Because most of the people on the east coast are all about mustangs or other muscle cars.

Plus I work for Toyota so it's a discount regardless =)

I posted this in the AZ region section but thought I should say hi here too so:

Hello everyone just got a 2015 Asphalt FR-S 2 weeks ago. I come from the offroad world. I have always been into racing/wheeling and modifying vehicles. This one should be a fun little project. I have ordered a SBD turbo, motiv testpipe and overpipe, drift bar, OFT tune, and Exedy stage 2 clutch. Should have everything by Monday I will be installing all of this next Sat and Sun.

Hey guys, I had a 2013 FR-S and now after some months living as a pedestrian, I'm getting a 2016 BRZ. See you guys around.
