Although I won't have my car, I'll still head to C & C. I might be on a motorcycle though. If you guys want, we can plan to meet at 7AM at Einstein Bros in Chanhassen for a quick bagel and some coffee.

I'll look for ya, I'll be on a GSX-R tomorrow. And it's totally worth it ayau, once you're there, you'll see why early is better.

Well, I've been re-allocated from the 7th-11th of this month. I'm not upset, sad or angry. I was hoping to have it sooner, but I can't complain. My dealership, Burnsville Scion has done so much to make it a fantastic experience even in the midst of shipment issues.

#firstworldproblems eh? haha

Yup, my whiteout at from Luther is a 7-11 delivery - MSRP offered and accepted (Matthew Gilbert is the MAN).

Right now I feel like driving off the 1k straight through and then I can punch it up good.

My last sports car was a TR6, and that was 1972, when bugeyes, Elva and the Spitfire ruled gymkhana. I'm counting on some improvements over the last 40 years, at minimum that I won't be stocking extra spider gears in the tire well, or spending Saturday mornings vacuum balancing those Webers. I guess I won't chance cross-threading a knock-off with the FR-S, which I did do twice, first on a well-loved 100-4 Healey.

There will be "things" with the new ride, but they will be technologically advanced, and that should keep my hand off and provide income for a real mechanician. Oh, and now I have a reason to make frequent runs to the Fredrick-Miller spring for drinking water.

I thought about it, and honestly...I'm glad I've kept the FR-S. I saved just over $4500 from the Limited, which is what trim I would have purchased with the BRZ. That difference is with the college grad rebate.

I am happy with my decision and although I don't get the yippee factor of getting it early, I've made a financial choice that will impact my future positively.

It will sink in that I'm car-less tomorrow when I see all of your guys BRZ' and if AvusBlue & Mike330i bring their FR-S' tomorrow.

Either way, I'll be meeting you guys tomorrow at Einstein Bros on a GSX-R750 at 7AM prior to C & C.
