On a different note I forgot I dropped off a stock flywheel to be resurfaced and lightened before finding my current one.

I just have it sitting here and have been slowly getting things sold and out of the garage. I would like to see this get put to use.

Ready to bolt on, asking the 60 I paid to have it lightened and resurfaced.

He told me and I forgot it's been months since I picked it up I believe he was able to take off around 5-6lbs so it's not super light as others are but it's lighter.

Ok I contacted Bodykit Depot they only have VIS Hoods so the one you pointed out (Although they list different ones for the FRS vs BRZ and the BRZ one is what you posted which is cheaper than the FRS go figure) is the only one they seem to carry.

Next I spoke with Stillen they offered to do it but the price was for the Seibon TS Style like yours at 715 plus shipping. Not much of a deal but they did try I appreciated it.

Phatek seems to have the best deal they will ship them to different locations for free and the prices are what we are still working out but again they have Seibon so far no word on the VIS Style you found that is cheaper.

I am going to make a few more calls and see what I can pull off but for now Phatek seems to be offering the best deal and since it's just two of us I don't see it being a huge savings compared to say 4 or more.

I will hop in if we can get a discount on the Seibon TS Style ones. FRS here.

NOTE: Based on what Ive read on the aero of our car, slots towards the front of the car are much better placement for heat reduction while not decreasing airflow through your radiator/intercooler setup. The higher placed slots on the VIS style hood has me a bit more worried about that one.

I found a place I am talking to now that may set us up well I am getting prices as we speak on the following:
Carbon Fiber Top Secret (Limited run only 3 left then they will not be making it anymore they claim) I had not seen it before but I never looked for it either.

VIS AMS Style Carbon Fiber (Like the one @Dallon linked)

Seibon FA Style Carbon Fiber with the Vents and Subi Scoop

I should have prices in 5 minutes and shipping costs.

Ok they are not beating Bodykits Depot's shipped price on the VIS Hood so that's the best deal for that hood at 688 for the BRZ and 709 for the FRS. (Site claimed 99.00 shipping)

Phastek just did a Free shipping and 5% off special they were already running so it's 759.00 for the Seibon FA Style Hood Shipped.

The Top Secret Hood is the cheapest Carbon Fiber one at 664.99 with 5% off and free shipping.

So worst case we have some extra information for others out there. I am going to give some thought to the Top Secret hood but most likely end up with the Seibon FA Style Carbon Fiber Hood.

Sorry I could not get any deals for anyone but honestly we did need a few more buyers to make it really happen.
