Did you call Scion of Apex? They may still have theirs.

Ordered my Whiteout MT from Leith Toyota today, for MSRP, no options. Not even the carpeted trunk mat. Looks like it will be 3 months out, but that's fine. I'll get what I want in the end.
I highly recommend Leith Toyota, and definitely make sure to ask for Alan Hillman. He'll get the job done with no BS. I have seriously never had a better dealership experience. Well worth the two hour drive from Wilmington. Now the wait begins!

Just curious, still deciding to put down a deposit, will buy from either Fred Anderson or Leith. I test drove yesterday at Fred Anderson and have visited Leith also. I remember Leith saying that it was about a 90 day wait for a Manual but the guy at Fred Anderson yesterday told me that its probably about a 1-2 month wait for a manual and not sure on AT but less. He said he'll know better Monday when they find out about their new allocation. I told him I want mine with no options also but I'm expecting it to have 1 or 2, probably $300-$400 worth, definitely no bespoke. Looks like I need to pay Alan a visit. |

Any dealer telling you they have no control over what they get is either mis-informed or just trying to sell you the inventory they already have slated. That's what my local dealer tried to feed me, and that's why I made the drive to Leith. Before I left Leith yesterday, I had signed paperwork that stated my cars price at $25,205, which is exactly what a 6MT FR-S in Whiteout should be. I was even told by Alan that if for some reason the car came in at $25,305(random number), I would still get the price I signed for. Quote:
I have heard of another sales guy at Leith not being as helpful, or knowledgable. So definitely talk to Alan because the guy is awesome. When I stated I had to drive to the bank to get my deposit, he said "Why don't we take the FR-S?" So I ended up driving their Argento AT to the bank to get my FR-S' deposit That particular Argento AT is their test ride, and to my understanding, they won't sell it. It apparently doesn't count towards their future allocations so they have no reason to push it. Top move by the dealership. Hope this helps you in your decision. You should get the car the way YOU want it, not how the dealer wants to force feed it to you. Good Luck! :happy0180:

I just got back a little while ago from a test drive at Leith with Alan. I definitely recommend him to anyone interested in driving/ordering an FR-S in the triangle area (and beyond). He was very professional and not pushy in the least.

So, I'm going to put in an actual order with Alan if Fred Anderson doesn't get what I want with their allocation.

Also might drop by Southern States to talk about the BRZ limited. See why it cost 30k and see if they can knock some money off of that.
