plenty of 50 year olds and older will be buying the auto...
in fact, I can actually see the value in them if they shift well.

As long as the WHITE automatic GTS is $45,000 or less drive away, ill be happy.

not sure if you've read the other thread (i've posted it there too).I'll post it here as well, my dealer said when i ordered my 86 said the extra cost doesn't apply, all paint is the same price. I ordered white auto GTS as well as long as its 40K drive away i'll definitely buy, 43K i'll might have to think hard about it, any higher i'm bailing.

Hey Steve whats ur number again??? LOL... Quit it mate people dont need to know ur number over and over again...

And as for TRD is dead... Bullshit!!!! I will hold u to that... I think the people that have been following this car as long as I and there are atleast 5 - 10 here would disagree with u entirely....

I dont know if ur saying it to boost sales now so that people dont hold of for a TRD model in coming months but for anyone out there that is im calliing Steve out on this one....

THERE WILL BE A TRD MODEL in Australia...... They may hold off until sales slow down a little but this is not the Hilux, Aurion, or any other failed TRD and the failure of TRD in regards to sales with other cars will reflect nothing at all on the 86...

Prove me wrong Steve...

I hope ur not just giving misleading information to better ur own profits.. Obviously u would deny this regardless but i think at the very least this is just ur opinion and not that of Toyota Australia as fact.....

There wont be a TRD model. There will only be parts available and it has been said that they will be available approx. 8 months after launch.

I was told by a Toyota rep that there where no immediate plans or commitments for the TRD edition.

In the future maybe but nothing in the first 2 yrs at least.

Even if it does come and my personal preference is the TRD edition over others makers of aftermarket components thus far, i cant justify the extra $$ Toy Aus would sell it for. Especially the brake package price, dear oh me that is expensive.

Time will tell.

I would like some TRD parts. coil overs, brake pads for stock brakes, aero, exhaust, intake. *maybe* seats. Not so much wheels. There are much better wheels out there.
The big brake kit is sick, but WAY too expensive. there are cheaper ways to get big brakes

These 3 links all contradict u? There all implying it WILL happen, just not now....

And even if they stated TRD would not be offered in Australia which it completely doesnt it would be a biased opinion by us form members, not TRD/TOYOTA themselves....

Look Franky my beef aint even with u, its with VTEC who claims he has been eagerly awaiting this car for ages yet joined the forum less than a month ago and seems to be using the forum for nothing more than an a sales pitch to advertise himself!!!

But good effort throwing in ur 2cents...

Its with the thread maker who works for Toyota who i strongly feel has mislead saying TRD is dead and wont be sold in Australia....

This is simply not true and i feel he has stated this to boost his initial sales!!!......

I dont appreciate salesmen coming onto a forum for 86 enthusiasts and making claims he cant back to make money.....

But we are all entitled to our opinion... And that is mine.....

And yes the aero kit and big brake package is killer.....
