I have a stop payment on my current vehicle loan pending the purchase of the FR-S. I'd really like to see this settled before the weekend is here so I can enjoy the weekend more and have all of this crap resolved so I don't have to think about it any more.

I already sold my car (offer came up, never wait) - so while I can use the wife-mobile, it's a bit irritating. :P

Official reason for FRS Delay
This is from the Scion chat attendant at scion.ca:
"The FR-S Owner's Manual did not accurately describe certain information or details concerning the operation of the SRS system in your vehicle. Accordingly, we decided to delay release of the vehicles to ensure Owners' Manual contained the proper information. Certain sections in the FR-S Owner's Manual have been amended and a supplement has been added." |

Apparently...
...communication isn't Scion Canada's strong suite... let's hope that they're better at service than providing information about availability.
Still no word from my dealer as to arrival... bizarre. I feel as if I'm about to purchase a GM product.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm number 6 at OpenRoad in Richmond. They told me about a month ago that my car will be part of the first batch they recieve. Yet I still haven't heard anything. I even called my sales rep twice but he didn't answer. I did however get a call from the guy int he number 2 spot telling me he was contacted by the dealership. I'm just wondering why I haven't been yet. bneale |
