Hi 350Matt, I'm not 100% certain, but i'm pretty sure the Cosworth hoses feeding the charge air coolers are smaller than the hose coming out of the pump.

Please see the images below. You will notice there is a "Y" connection for each branch. The waterpump outlet fitting is .75" OD.

The fittings on the back of the charge cooler also look much smaller than .75" fittings I have seen.

As for the pump.
I have seen this new pump used on OEM applications, such as AUDI and GM. I know that it is brushless and is anti surging. There is circuitry built into the pump to prevent cavitation and extend life.

Excellent commentary gentlemen, CSGMike, J123ic, and 350matt. These ideas were sort of in my head, although not as clear as you put them. And in any final sense, I couldn't arrive at a rational, why Edelbrock would provide "less cooling" with the number of kits they produce. Clearly, there is more than meets the eye here. I can't wait until they release it and find out more.

ah yes you're quite right, but the large hoses that run down to the air water radiator are 0.75" and then bifurcate to a pair of 1/2" hoses to meet the 2 cores

I'd say the edlebrock with its single core and possibly higher flow is a different route to the same cooling capacity as there's more than 1 way to crack a nut so to speak

as for that pump I think I know the one of which you speak
Audi and VW use them on the high power dual intercooler stuff
I've yet to track down an actual part number though

Competes very well with the Vortech Hitting the Streets video. Dem Red Accents as a selling point, haha.

All things being even, the red accents would be a tie breaker for me!

If you want one of the first kits, you want to get a deposit in ASAP. It's happening VERY soon.
