Makes me wonder where Vorschlag is with this product?

They are deeply invested by now with no way to recover the investment until you fund it. What if that does not happen?

Not really, the car performs fantastic, the conversion Vorshlag did (as you would expect ) is at this point flawless. Yeah....I'm thinking easily $12-15K for the kit with an LS3 and transmission when its all done. We shall see.

Vorschlag is one o the few places, with precision chassis works, where I would do such conversion, these guys are top notch. I am curious how much you paid for this, but Vorschlag learned tons on this build, I hope they are giving you some sort of discount for the learning curve.
When I see all the guys pouring thousands in a turbo kit, i think the LSX kit makes so much more sense on the long run. But it needs to be cheap because the resale value on these conversion is really bad so far.

Yes they have discounted me alot,... but,... because of who they are and what they do that discounted price point would be higher than a regular shop, they employee highly skilled fabricators and mechanics and want to retain these guys. I paid a price in labor that a guy who buys the kit would not pay. If the kit was available I would of done the work myself, as this is why it took so long, to make the kit as a true bolt in requires a lot of engineering around things instead of breaking out the dead blows and cutting wheels. I paid only for the labor involved when a kit part was complete,....so an engine mount might of been installed 4 or 5 times, I only get charged once,....etc.etc....this happened on every component numerous times, ...think they installed and pulled the engine atleast 6 times to finally get the angle and position just right......I wouldn't even consider bothering turboing or super charging the FA20.....(even though as many, I went that route first)...this car is a monster now making OEM style reliable horsepower and Im on baseline LS1 power levels, with no penalties on weight or front to rear balance.

We have all the parts in house for the ECU integration. But we have not sold them to Rick yet. I have not completed the programming necessary, as I need the car and ECU here at the shop to do it.

The swaybar parts have been partially mocked up, but final parts are not built, nor were they sold to Rick.

AC components are straight forward and (as far as I know) have not been purchased by the shop or sold to Rick. Well, maybe the compressor (I can't remember), but not the other components.

I can finish the majority of the electrical integration on another stock car, but will eventually need to finalize it on a swapped car. I think we can finish the swaybar on a stock car. Nah. If you read their blog, they say the kit will be about the same price as the E36 swap kit. Theres $4k. Then the say another $1.5k for canbus solution. T56 Magnum XL $3.5k new. LS3 $7k new. May be able to find a deal though. Assuming you do the labor yourself. Thats about $15k for all new. $12k if your patient enough to find some smoking deals on engine and trans.

$15k sounds like where it should be, without labour.
That's already bringing the car above $30k investment, which is really close to used corvette C6 pricing.

If they offer a good kit with plug and play stuff I think this could be a very fun winter project for any FRS owners wanting more power.
