The site must not allow indirect links. If I look at the properties, copy the link and paste it into the browser, I get the picture. Otherwise, I don't. Once I do that, it shows up in the posts above....

That record with Monteux and the Conservatoire Orchestra should be what's known as a "Shaded Dog". (Nipper appears as if he is in the shade on the record label.) They are quite valuable if the LP is still in excellent condition.

Monteux conducted the premiere of the Rite of Spring in 1913 with the Ballet Russe. So he ought to know his stuff with this work! Not sure though what the snakes have anything to do with... this was a ballet set in pagan Russia a long time ago. The photo below is from the recreated first performance done by the Joffrey Ballet in 2013. Note the resemblance of costumes to Native American garb; that was deliberate.
