So roughly 500-600 lbs for 1" pavers and 1000-1200 lbs for the 2" paver. In other words, too much for one trip on either. I don't ever see putting much more than maybe 300 lbs ever in my trunk and that would be only if it was an emergency Home Depot visit to get some materials(4-80lb bags of cement?) for the next days job and I didn't want to drive my workvan to pick it up. I don't even like the added weight of a passenger in the FR-S really so I don't see going much past the 200-300 lb mark myself. |

I forgot about potentially scratching the interior especially when I have lots of timbers. Maybe I should rent car/get someone to do it.

I was able to fit a queen-size bed frame through the back of the trunk. It was a bit dangerous without a red cloth tie-on at the end of the box and the passenger keeping weight on the front end. Saved 35 dollars from delivery though.

Follow maximum payload quotes. I was a subcontractor once and had to haul away a bunch of concrete. It was at least double the maximum payload quoted on the GMC Sierra.
The result was maybe a hundred bucks saved but the frame must have been warped because the tail lid never aligned properly ever again. Drove fine and never made any unusual sounds or changed the way it drove. |
