Sticky tires have been sitting in the spare bedroom for a week. The timing hasn't worked out to run the car in the first MCO Solo2 event, but everything should be in place for the next one. I'll take some time off work to rack up those break-in miles!

FR-S will be running on the roads in GTA next week. Owners' manual issue was fixed.

You might be happier with a new car than a demo unit -- who knows how the demo was treated?

Anyway, when did you submit your order to the dealer? If it was just in the past few days then it probably wouldn't be part of their initial shipment on/around June 4th. The dealer is probably thinking they'll get a second batch of cars in mid-June.

Man I cannot wait! My dealer told me 2 days to PDI once the car gets here. Would Saturday count as a day?

Yeah, it shouldn't take 2 days. Same day or next unless you are adding options.

oh shit! Don't they semi detail it, drive it around to test it out and fill it up?

Man if it takes just 2 hours to PDI then I could potentially bring it home tonight if it shows up early enough.

So if your car left on the 31. Is it not more than possible that it will be at the dealership today. I can't see it taking more than 24 hours to offload all the vehicles on the truck. I am thinking each truck holds 12 cars. I think they are giving you the absolute worst case scenario ( other than the truck getting written off in an accident en route) to ensure no more anxiety and a nice surprise call on Monday.

PS. I have heard nothing from Mendes.

Dealer here, I got an automatic released here but I can still see my production very much still at ' port of entry ' as well as a few dealers, wonder if that means we get our stock next week and deliveries start

Messed around with the automatic yesterday, fun fun car

Let's hope they are erring on the conservative side just so they aren't building up false expectations.

Let's see -- Tony Graham is getting 10 cars or so I think @ 2.5 hours prep per car = 25 hours divided between a couple of technicians = about a day and a half.

Random internet forum math can't be wrong. Would be nice if they prepped and released the cars in the order the deposits were made.

I passed by the dealer and got to sneak into the preparation bay. Gabriel received 2 cars I think today which are doing prep. was amazed to see how much work something as simple as the mud guards took. 2 technicians and a bit of black melted sludge to finish the job, it didn't look that simple. Not a lot of them have ever seen a car like this and a few people were having a good look at the thing to make sure everything was done right for training purposes .
They have a silver manual which is receiveing a drop kit, shark fin and a few goodies form Greddy I've been sworn to secrecy about by Oren.
