My bad! Didn't mean to add confusion to the thread regarding the wheel subtypes.

It's raining in Perth ? Struth !

A few Q's:

1: Did you see what clearance you got in the end from strut to tyre ? Absolutely NO rubbing even during hard cornering ?

2: Alignment specs ? Looks like it needs a touch of camber up front.

3: How do the STI springs compare to stock ?

4: How are finding the Duralumin locking nuts ? Reckon they'll last 5 years ?

5: Can you give us an insight to the new RE003 tyres ?

This is awesome to see because it proves that the new Rays Face2 18x8.5+42 56.1mm HC design fits these cars well & it would appear with no fitment issues - I LIKE !

Cheers

1. no rubbing whatsoever, everything cleared

2. do have them at the moment as i have not got a wheel alignment from factory as car came standard with the STI springs. Alignment would be the same as the series blue in america

3. STI springs are definitely stiffer but at the same time comfortable. lots of grip on the track. i have compared to the stock frs and definitely much less body roll

4. they should last quite a while if taken care of properly

5. the new bridgestone RE003 tyre is very grippy i cant give u much detail of it but is quite not as noisy as prius tyres in my opinion. i am sorry i am no expert at this but i reckon they are good tyres for its price

Just to clarify -- those are 9.5s, right?
They look great tho! Def prefer CJ spec to SP. Did you weigh them before you mounted? Wondering if the machining makes any measurable difference or not.

"wheel specs are all round 18X8.5 +42"

Yes, these are a size offered for 57xtremes with a concave face. No need for coilovers!

The wheel accents are very strange. And the spoiler seems a bit out of place. Car has a nice stance to it. Thanks for posting.

All the 8.5s ive seen don't have the concave face. I really like these though. Concave face looks really good

If 235 tires are stretched like that, it has to be a 9.5.
