OFT uses RomRaider... Anyone who tunes subarus should be able to tune with an OFT. Call and talk to Ron at RS. I have no complaints with my OFT tunes, I am on E85 tho... The stage 2 EL tune was a big plus over the stock map. |

Hows your throttle response? Mine is absolutely terrible. I think thats the source of my dissatisfaction.

did you follow the appropriate steps? my throttle is fine. How long has it been since you uploaded the tune? if you touch the throttle before the ecu calibrates the new tune, you can have some dead spots when you hit the gas pedal. it should eventually self-adjust though.

From what I remember it just said to let it idle for 45 seconds before driving it. Other than that I dont remeber it having any other tips for letting it learn. On the e85 tune I know its dont drive it hard until the ecu learns the blend. I uploaded it a few weeks ago. I just remember the throttle response was the first thing I noticed on the test drive. DBW sucks. Looks like you can tune it out though. I really need to get into RomRaider and start playing with settings. |

I followed these steps when loading my tune, I didn't have an issue with the dead spots.

I was going to try and make it. I should be getting tires and wheels mounted tonight but the suspension won't be done until Thursday at the earliest. I might skip the suspension and just come by to watch my friend in his SI.
