And still not a f***ing peep from my "salesperson" at CitySide. They're about to lose an order.

What's with all the posting? Shouldn't you be out driving or something?

Maybe their sales department is better but our experience with their service department has been terrible.

They had my wife's car for 2.5 weeks in which they decided they need to replace the entire wiring harness. They did a total shit job of this (broken/scuffed bits all over) and broke the heating/AC system in the process. Had to make no less than three trips out there because they couldn't seem to understand that we didn't want the car to continually blow extremely hot air even with the heat completely turned off. When they finally "finished" the car washer had taken the keys home with him which they informed us after we drove out there.

There were still left over problems so we finally took it to Planet Subaru who found another $1500 dollars worth of work including some serious safety issues. Like the car wouldn't have passed inspection because they were so bad safety issues. Somehow City Side hadn't noticed (and probably caused) these issues. Car has been fine since Planet fixed it up.

CitySide will never be getting our business again.

Didn't they tell you that the car would be arriving sometime between now and early July at the outset? They don't have control over when the cars get cleared at the port and onto trucks. Chill!

If you manage to find the car you want, ready to buy, at a different dealership, just buy it there and get your deposit back from CitySide. Don't blame the dealer for something that isn't under their control. Would you like them to call you and say "Hi I have no new information, hopefully your car will be here soon!"? I'd rather they just give me a call when they get the car instead of wasting my time with no new information. Would I prefer that they had my car today and gave me a call? Definitely, but it isn't something worth getting worked up over. It'll be here soon enough!

Yes. I'd like it if they even just called me to say "You're a jerk, Brian. A complete kneebiter."

It's not about the fact that the car hasn't arrived at the dealership; that's out of their control. But you and @Sony have both gotten confirmation that your cars have arrived in port. You've had contact with your sales person. I've called and emailed multiple times in the 3 months they've had my deposit; only once have they called me back. Two days ago I called and spoke with Dan, the sales manager. John, my salesperson, was out and Dan couldn't be bothered to see if my order had been allocated. I left a message with John early yesterday; he never called back.

Yeah, I'm foaming at the mouth to drive this car, but I'm also getting a complete lack of customer service. If I can find someone else who has the car I want, they'll get my sale.

Haha, well now I'm at work

I only got to drive the car 2 miles to work this morning, but whenever I get behind the wheel or look at it I can't help but smile. I actually want to get out of work just to look at it!

I haven't heard a word from my dealer, either, which is a wee bit annoying because I placed my order with a former co-worker so I was hoping he'd keep me in the loop more... Maybe they just really don't have that much information? He mentioned that it was weird how this car was so difficult to track, unlike normal Imprezas and Legacys etc. where you can pretty much track exactly where they are in the production/delivery line. All I know is I have my VIN#, the car shows up in their online inventory with a status of "in transit" and they gave me an estimate of mid-June.

I can tell you that Atlantic has BRZ's for a fact. My dad works down the street and saw them testing them on 28.

Spoke with CitySide moments ago. 3 cars came in last night. They haven't figured out whose they are, yet.

Any word on when they'll know?

e: or even which cars they are?

e2: cars are one white one (didn't catch the trim) and two WRB limited 6mt. Neither of the WRB cars are for me

Just called Mike, none of them were mine. One is a demo unit and the other two were my exact model and color but they were not mine (they were already sold). He said mine should hopefully be here tomorrow or possibly even later tonight.

One is mine. Just trying to find time to pull my wife out of work for the test drive. Oh, and I'm working today, too…
