As for "versus", it is rather pseudo-versus. There have to be standards for real comparatives, and till now, I have not seen any standards. More than that, one comparative is not enough, more of them are needed, similar as what is done in financial valuation.

to reiterate what strat61caster said, of course tires are the most important, but you have to understand the tire classes. I'm tired of seeing the "tires will solve everything on the twins" argument time and time again when it's wrong. The primacy hp are very good tires for the twins. They are fun, get good gas mileage, and get similar lap times to MP class tires on the twins.

The dunlop sp sport 2050 are UHP tires, the dunlop sp sport 01 are UHP tires (HP<UHP<MP<EP). The star specs are EP tires, 2 grades above. So a fair comparison would be to put all 3 of those cars on the same EP tire.

I'm getting tired of seeing "primacy hp sucks" posts.

No you're confused bro..lol. I was asking Raven why he bought a fat cow in the FRS. I never said my car was fat. I said I also had a car in the past that made me purchase the FRS instead because it was a "REAL" fat cow at 3,560 lbs.

I am confused, you just called one FRS fat but your FRS isn't fat?

2750lbs is chubby imo

For a 2 seat roadster maybe, but not for a 2+2 coupe. Heck even the S2K tipped the scales at ~2850 lbs.

I never said any 86 was a "fat cow". 2750-2800 lbs is LIGHTWEIGHT to ME. Raven said that weight is "fat", so I was asking him why would he buy a "fat"(from his personal perspective) sports car. You might have to go back a couple post to get where this is coming from.

I think he's talking about the AP2's, which were a shade over 2850.

Is the whole purpose of this forum section "versus" about measuring? I did not create it.

As for **** measuring, here too should be some standards, like temperature, point of departure, state, etc...

This was a fun read. 10/10
Amazing how these verses threads can bring in the guys that have nothing to say anywhere else in the forum though.
