Sounds like he browses the forum if he did the 12V plug in the sound tube trick...

I really hope so. This forum is a good place to help discern which mods matter and which do not. As ED continues the long term test and mods they spoke of, their FR-S should really begin to shine and for very little extra money.

I think Paul is just honest, and people take it too personally. He's always commented on how much he enjoys the FRS, he just also states that there are a lot of other cars that offer a lot within the same price range.
And it's true. The 25-30k segment is quite competitive and there are a lot of good options, some of which offer quite a bit more (on paper) than the FRS. The FRS appeals to buyers in different ways, making it more of a niche car. Some of the other cars however (Focus ST, GTI MS3, WRX etc) may appeal more to the average buyer, especially the hatchbacks. I can't even begin to tell you all the different types of people I've seen driving an ST, GTI, or MS3. Every day too. I don't think Paul is saying the FRS is a bad car. I think he's just being realistic and pointing out other cars that can be bought in the new or, in this case, used market for around he same amount of money.

Can't think of a pair of guys I'd rather listen to than these 2... I think they both "get it" but just have different priorities and preferences. The guy from Engineering Explained is pretty good too! I guess I enjoy the rational discussion.
