Out of curiosity (or ignorance ....) what is the V belt driving .... ??

What is driving it ….. ??

Does it have a idler pulley ... ??

Is the super charger out of alignment with the rest of the pulleys on the drive system? as in that pulley sticking out further?

I use Gates belts.




But, I don't think that's your problem.

Driving it is the Toyota Gt86 and it does have a pulley, you can see it as member fastbrew posted.

Ive contacted Gates corporation and Will order the V-belt from there and see if that solves my issue. Ive also told them about the weather conditions and everything. Hope that works

I have checked with HKS their V belt maximum size is 6k2075 & Gates have the sizes 2127 or 2140 for the 2mm width belts.

What do you think about the company Bando?

I would invest more towards the cooling part of my engine but the weird thing is my engine temperature is always moderate even when i give the car a bit of throttle but when i open the front hood it is very hot, even after leaving the car for 2 hrs; the supercharger, belt and pipes are still hot. Im confused :|,
