That works much better.

Better yet would be pedal dance mode. You'll have to look that one up.
Yup, dp try holding the trac off button (not the vsc sport button) for 3 seconds until both Trac off and stability off show on the dash.

I was using the pedal dance for a few runs a couple weekends ago and on one run, the abs would kick on super early... Apparently there is some "ice mode" that will kick in and cause abs to come on early? Anyone heard of that?

I've read the same. Long drawn out thread where people were doing everything to replicate those instances on the track. There were people saying they prefer 3 second traction and others saying pedal dance mode.

I think I was using the regular traction control method at dctc and everytime I started sliding it would violently and unceremoniously disrupt me. That was day 2 of owning the car and I didn't know any better with the controls

I see...some quick reading indicates that "ice mode" is in fact a real thing (and a real issue) with the pedal dance.

I did notice the trac light flashing even after having all aids turned off. I think I'll need to learn the pedal dance.

And better tires... I need better tires. First thing next year since I plan on making it to a lot more events next year.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have tried both the 3 second TC hold and the Sport mode button. For the 1st event we ran at DCTC I had my best time in "Sport" mode?

I plan to test the pedal dance at next event. My hindsight is 20-20, DOH. We should have done the MAC practice-cross (like TMF) to get some understanding of this new car. DP

Pedal Dance Mode on a warmed up twin. Works very well, the OFT offers a switch which I assume is easier.

I have oft and yes there's a button for it. Much easier. Doesn't have to be fully warmed up or anything.

That said the off the shelf tunes leave much to be desired. Throttle response is terrible on the stage 2 uel tune. I'm debating trying the e85 stage tune but it's slightly sketchy to me.

The other negative thing is that no tuner around here tunes with the oft compatible software. FBM uses ecutek, I forget what shane uses, Jordan uses BRZedit. Jordan said he'd try it if I bring the software and whatnot.

Are you letting the fuel trim auto adjust and at the same time allowing the ecu to adapt to the tune? You need to allow some time fot this to transpire. My car runs great with th e85 el stg 2 tune

I haven't given it a shot yet. I was going to tonight but decided not to invite in any headaches right now ha. I'm going to try to get it worked out before pg.2 but yeah, I've read the bit on the transition period. Wait until you see the difference in valve action before driving it hard and whatnot. I'd get back into it when it comes time.

I'm currently chasing an exhaust leak. I should pretty much give up on that until I do the mid/overpipe being I know I'll be chasing more.
