I have a lot of car friends like that too. Usually too scared to run it at the track.

Here is the thing, I tell them but they don't want to. My question is, what is scary about going to the track?

A lot of stuff. Breaking their cars. Literally scared to drive fast out at the track.

Usually these friends have a bunch of bolt on power mods without a tune and cheap ass tires. They think they are super fast on the freeway, but they usually don't how to properly drive fast. Haha

And these are the friends who would rather spend the track day money on some more power mods. Lol

Also consider that if you crash at autox insurance doesn't cover it. Now if I crash while doing spirited driving on a back curvy road insurance does cover it and my medical bills. I know the risk I am taking but I don't know if everyone does. You are about to do something and be prepared for the consequences if something goes wrong.
