Any estimates on price?

A quick google search puts the somewhat comparable cosworth kit at $6500. I also looked at other edelbrock eforce kits and they seem to be over $6,000. Based on what I have seen it looks like it will have a price premium of at least $1,000 over the Jackson racing setup. Time will tell I suppose.

I hope the tvs don't have the same issue with delamination of the rotors like my mp62 has.

Admittedly I haven't done any looking into reliability of their other offerings yet, mainly because I know it'll be a tooth and nail fight with the wife to change over to a different type of boost. And I haven't even decided what I would go with yet

I only have minimal experience, but a company does not successfully build a strong reputation for quality products if their products do not work well.

If you're looking to break records using Edlebrock kits (on any platform), you're probably going to have issues, but it's no different from trying to get 800hp out of a Jackson Racing supercharger system. Unrealistic goals tend to lead to a bad time.

Looking forward to hearing more from you once you get kits installed and dyno/track tested. The numbers aren't super impressive but as you mentioned the 91 octane isn't helping and their baseline number is very low. I would imagine with a quality header like a Tomei EL or JDL and 93 octane we could see 270 at the wheels and hit 300 with E85. I assume equal length would help get some top end power to get closer to the high rpm numbers of the JR kit?

I hope you guys get a chance to dyno it with both EL and UEL headers (doesn't have to be the ACE either, would rather it be something more people have.) Also interested to see how it holds up on the dyno and track after a few runs to see how the heat effects it.

We all should be glad that there is another option out and see what kind of price and warranty that Edelbrock offers. Keep us posted Mike!

The MP112 on my Lightning had the same issue (before I swapped to a turbo)... The abradable coating on the TVS series rotors is MUCH more durable than on older designs, I haven't heard of anyone having this issue with the newer rotors.

I want to see an independent dyno and a price. Maybe CSG can give us a dyno plot that compares better to a JRSC when it's released?

The kit isn't even released yet.... Once released I am sure people will combine it with headers and exhaust and custom tunes and it will show its merit.

To me, its a well thought out kit with a reputable supercharger unit. Its not going to get max power but it will probably be the most maintenance free kit you can buy. Plus it looks clean.

It all comes down to price, but I am thinking it will be in line with other high quality supercharger options available.

Whoever is going to the nitto event in anaheim this weekend should get some photos and the scoop. I believe they are unveiling it tomorrow.

I talked with the guys at the booth for a while and I'll share a couple of things I found interesting.
The intake ( on the supercharger ) as well as the MAF sensor housing are 80mm ( stock is 65mm ) to allow for a larger throttle body when/if you need it. Take a look at the pic and you will notice the step down tubing to fit the stock TB.

The intercooler is a single unit that sits above the charger feeding directly into the manifold runners. The lines come off the back of the unit to the heat exchanger up front ( sorry I didn't get a photo of this ). Everything looked very clean and professionally placed. The exchanger runs nearly the entire length of bumper opening, was tucked in very close to the radiator and is a 29 row double pass.

They are using a VariMax coolant pump for the heat exchanger ( which you can see pictured below ).

EcuTek included for CARB

They're hoping for a release mid August, seemed like everything was ready to go and they were just waiting on a CARB EO.

They are shooting to keep the price competitive with Jackson Racing's offering and stated that it would be well under the Cosworth kit's price.

It is indeed an Eaton Gen IV 1320 TVS

They stated that a small enough pulley could be fitted to the unit to allow the kit to push over 20 psi. I did not get the current psi used for their dyno graph that was recently released. They simply stated that there was quite a bit of headroom over what they posted.

This last one is from the brochure they were handing out. You can see that the manifold runners are cast aluminum, replacing what is plastic stock.

Nothing needed to be cut, altered or removed for the kit to fit ( as per their words ).

Lastly, for anyone that is truly concerned about warranty: If installed by an ASCE Tech **At A Licensed Shop**, a new car dealer or an Edelbrock certified installer, there is a 36,000 mile ( from 0- regardless mileage when put on ), 3 year warranty on Engine, transmission and rear axle parts if there is a mechanical failure.

They should sell that intake separate from the kit.

I didn't take any more pics. The only thing that I could have shot that isn't already out on the net to see is of the intercooler mounting ( I think! ) sorry!
