We have a 2nd car. The problem is the strollers and stuff. Kids would be miserable back there for long road trips - but for going to the store or dinner is fine.

Congrats! Glad you're enjoying it (hope the rest of the fam is, too). Great pic of the kids in the back seat.

The solution is to buy the wife a nice family sedan, suv, or van and have the fr-s as your practical commuter car. I've wasted too many years buying large family sized cars and then ending up taking the wife's car for family excursions anyway. Never again will I make that mistake!

Bingo. The BRZ is my daily driver and I'm able to do errands with our two boys. When we all go somewhere together, we'll take my wife's car.

Hahaha awesome.
I drove my younger sister and a friend, this car can seat 3 people without too much difficulty.
The passenger seat just needs to be pulled up a bit more and you're set to go really.

Actually, it's more like "Practical family car, my ass!!!!!"

I'll be tossing an 11 year old behind the passenger seat and an 8 year old behind the driver seat when I need to drive the kids. No car seats though so it'll be much easier.

This car is better than I thought. I have a bigger car for longer trips, but this is not bad.

Bonus: My 2.8 year old daughter always says "whoa!" every time the engine starts.
