That Autoconnect box is selected.
On the OBD scantool device I have to press a little button that gets it in pairing mode. Then while that is blinking on the scantool device, I have to press the "Search OBD bluetooth device" where it finds the scantool device. Same procedure every time car is shut off. It seems it should be saving that scantool in there so next time the car is turned on, it is in the memory. Looking in my Samsung S5 under the bluetooth settings, it shows that the phone is paired with the Scantool and also showing paired with the Dashliq4. It doesn't make sense why the Dashlinq isn't saving anything it gets paired with like the phone does. I haven't updated anything on the Dashlinq since I got it a few months ago. Maybe it needs updating? Thank you for your help with this, Tareim. |

I would love to have this headunit simply to be able to run Waze.
How does this work to get data? Do you tether it to your cell phone? The Torque app looks cool too. |

I see there are two models, the dashlinq4 and dashlinq ct. Which one is better. Trying to read website on my phone sucks.

I believe they are mostly the same hardware-wise. The CT has newer firmware and is in stock. I do not think they are stocking the Dashlinq4 anymore.

That was the "Car Tab" version (or something like that). Not sure what happened to that but it's no longer available. Torque does work also. I haven't had any issues with it at least.
