If I do or don't get mine in time, I'll let you know. If I do, we should park alongside each other. We can meet prior for coffee and bagels at Einstein Brothers in Chanhassen. Most people arrive to C & C about 7:30am.

People are pretty cool there and the weather is supposed to be pretty amazing on Saturday, but I'll have to leave around 9:15 for work.

if you guys are ocd as me about swirls/scratches, then don't let your dealer wash/detail your car. do it yourself with proper washing technique. just a heads up.

i've already told my dealer not to touch the paint and also not to drill the front bumper.

I'm not, my car lives outside on the street. I take care of my cars, but that would be a losing battle and I'd end up going nuts.

Ayau! I think our cars just got off the train (Assuming you havent already gotten yours) and my salesman thinks they will arrive by truck in the next couple days!

I once again reiterated to my salesman to talk to anyone who could get their hands on my car and drill a bumber. He's going to talk to the head lot guy as well.

Excited!

Excellent, I would assume that means mine as well even though it's headed to a different dealership.

Well, it looks like Toyota has issued a stop-ship on FR-S' until later in June! My insider at the dealer told me that everyone across the country screwed up by releasing the FR-S prior to the official on-sale date (6/1 or tomorrow) and Toyota didn't want these out. Unfortunately for me, the guy before me got his earlier this week and mine is apparently sitting in the lot awaiting to ship.

WTF, so frustrated right now. Plus, I just completed the paperwork and the car is officially purchased. I did it all this morning and now I'm finding out I might have to wait "a while".

since 6/1 is the official date, why can't you get yours on 6/1?

Oh no!! Why on Earth would they do this?! I can not think of a single "good" reason.
