On the next meet take a look at my RS which is daily driven 200 miles/day 5 days a week. I'm not an expert in that I am not a trained professional. With a little dedication, hard work you can drive a pretty car lol daily and I know it's hard to believe it actually becomes easier to keep clean. I got some advice by a dude shining up his Harley while I was in S. Korea, and it went something like "How someone takes care of their belongings (cars, clothes, house, etc..)is probably a direct reflection on how they wipe their own ass". A bit extreme lol and I had to do a double take when he put like that. And my version is the family friendly version. It would be cool to set up a meet if anybody is even interested. I've been to a couple Toyota dealership detailing seminars back east when I used to own a tC and was a member of the local Scikotics club and that's where I picked up some of the knowledge that I have now. Or if you have any questions feel free to text 760-507-9396. Just throw in the text you own a twin so I can identify and not ignore lol.
Hey Jedi, I actually need some advice. I didn't wash my car for about a month (went on a Vegas binge) and it got so dusty that some of the dirt stuck on to the paint even after I washed it. I own the Yuzu yellow, and the little black dirt particle make it look ugly af. I've clay bared it already and it only took out like 20% of the problem. Any ideas?

Btw this is Edgar, I went to last 626 meet and bought some spacers from @Twig . I was the other owner of the RS 1.0. Nice meeting you all, and really enjoying this thread.

As for the group sticker idea that was discussed, here's the one idea I brought up.

Anybody else has suggestions??

Have you tried clay bar again in a small area to see if there's any improvement on 2nd attempt? If that doesn't work I would move on to a cleaner wax such as CLICK HERE. There is also a liquid version of this stuff.
Body shops and pro detailers have access to much better stuff that treat things like what has happened to your car. Basically a good cleaner wax and an orbital polisher and somebody experienced with an orbital polisher should do the trick. They are basically removing the smallest possible layer of clear coat that has the imbedded contaminates within it. When this gets done by a unknowingly diy'er the clear coat can be damaged very easily. This same approach can applied to swirls and small scratches within the clear coat as well. Once damage gets past the clear coat then paint repair of some sort is needed. I would remain optimistic that you can get this back to where you want it.

I didn't even get out of Culver City till 8:10pm so I'm pretty sure I wasn't going to make it there till 8:45pm or so. My work hours are 12-8pm Mon-Fri and they really screw up trying to head out to these meets on weekdays.

That's true don't want to start messing with power tools to the clear quote. Thanks!
