Polymer sealant (they're also called waxes for normal people) and then you can use the carnauba on top of that. Polymer for the protection.
Carnauba looks great and will have a very deep gloss, but it's short lived. In Texas it will evaporate off the car with ease. |

I used #26. Would I have to remove that first to put on the #21? If you know.
Website info on it Provides ultimate high gloss protection to any previously cleaned and polished paint finish. Premium yellow Carnauba wax blended with silicones, polymers and other waxes Adds richness and depth of color Available in liquid or paste

Probably, as 21 is a sealant not a polish (though it may have some cleaner in it?). I've found that 26 lasts me 1-3 months (depending on how hot it is) and the 21 lasts 8+ months. I've had really good results using 26 on top of the 21 as well. I do love 26, as I think it gives the deepest shine. Plus it smells like candy (to me at least)! |

Quik is like 6/10 and a cheap quik wax. Aka lazy man's wax.
Some dont even consider it really waxing the car. Its thinner.

UQW is fine, but it's NOT a replacement for a real sealant/wax job. It's what you do after your weekly washes. Much like spray detailer is for removing dust... Spray carnauba is no better, and I'll go so far as to say carnauba sucks for protection and it's only for looks. |
