Installed my STI Side-skirts and attended the Sand Blast Auto show this week-end. Was a great day ! Didn't win any trophies but I wasn't expecing one either. Doing old school on a new car isn't the trend so... but hey maybe i'll start a new trend someday ! haha.

I really dig the old school style. Not my particular cup of tea, but your car looks amazingly cool!!!! Nice and tasteful while still selling the concept. Bravo!

Those gauges though! OMG gorgeous.

You are confusing a vendor of a product with the producer of a product here which is a terrible way to tarnish a lot of individuals all at once.

Toyota worked with Rota to develop that photo shoot and those retro themed cars. As OP said, Toyota would not have partnered with Rota if they believed them to be shady. (Rota does supply OEM wheels in some regions after all)

Wheeldude kind of dropped off the map lately, no idea why. They are not registered as vendors on this forum, but it could be because they did not see a business case in supporting this forum..they can still be found elsewhere.

Op, great build. Looks great on your car, the colour brings it all together for me.

Awesome car.

Think it would look great with a conservative drop (RCE Yellows). Clear sidemarkers for a clean look so eyes are drawn to wheels. Maybe GT3 style mirrors since a lot of 80s cars seemed to have more stem shaped mirrors based on my Google search (born in 89, haha).

Really love the wheels and the meat with lettering.

300$ for the mirrors, not too bad... I think you might have convinced me ! Gonna try to find if they're easy to install. And thanks!

Yeah. They are a bit of an acquired taste, but I think the more simplistic/minimalistic design of them would suit your car and goals.

You think you'll leave them carbon fiber, or color them in some way?

Edit: I think Figo has them on his car. Maybe check out his build thread or get in contact with him.
