I've seen a thread where they have welded the O2 bung on their front pipe right before the cat, or on their overpipe, but instructions and other people say to place the sensor before any cat. Does that mean you can't have any cats in front of the sensor including the primary to have an accurate reading. Or does it mean you just have to have it in front of a cat? So would I be good welding the O2 bung to either the overpipe or the front pipe? Any help would be appreciated.
Typically it's mounted in the front pipe, but that's because the majority of people with a wideband have also deleted their cats.

You'll want to replace the primary O2 with the wideband.

The factory sensor is pretty robust; why do you feed the need for an aftermarket wideband?

Thanks for the response. Just wanted to monitor my afr's. I plan to go flex fuel in the near future. Are you saying an AFR gauge is not needed?

Correct; your factory wideband should be more than sufficient

Let us know when you want to order a FF kit.

I recently finished my wear in miles, but I noticed that my car squeaks a little bit when I initially put it into reverse.

Anyone know if this a symptom of a larger problem?

Automatic? Like a belt slip squeak?

Yeah, it's an Auto and I thought it might be the timing belt slipping but I'm not quite sure

Is there any concerns for damage?

I'm getting CEL code P2096. I think it's because of the carb tune. I had Nameless headers, Perrin catted front pipe and exhaust with stock overpipe. Everything was fine until installing the supercharger. I keep clearing the code, but it seems to pop up more frequent now. Any solutions?

You should be running the stock header with the carb tune.
That code is cat related.

As it was already stated, the CARB tune is designed for a stock setup. You'll need a custom tune, or swap back your stock parts.

There's your problem. The CARB tune is made for OEM headers and OEM front pipe.

You probably never had issues before because you never really had enough flow to upset the engine. Now you do.

I recommend you get a custom tune for your setup. If you do not have any local tuners, we can set you up with a Delicious Flash-n-go.

Well, I have just spent the past few days on and off reading all 122 pages of this thread. Lots of great info! JR will be my choice, that is for sure.

Does anyone that has a JR SC live in or around Bucks County, PA or Mercer/Hunterdon Counties, NJ?? I would love to go for a ride in one.
