These are the ones I got and I'm having the same issue because its the same wiring. I'm assuming I'll have to cut the plug off and tap into ignition power? |

7:40 of spec d video... How did he get that control wire through so easily...?
Edit: For me it was easier to route the extension wire from the cabin to the engine bay under the grommet. Rubber grommet is the only piece between engine bay and cabin... When reaching through it felt like there was some tunnel piece in between... Last edited by Holyshiba; 07-27-2015 at 01:21 AM. Reason: Update |

I know this is hella late but for future lurkers... Op's link look like winjet kit,
This helped me along with the links above: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...ITIFzKyuiZIHPA Edit: Went to home depot, grabbed a few stainless steel 10-24 1" bolts, 10-24 wing nuts and a couple rubber washers... Got the idea from the diode video above and the thread sizes from another post on this site. One of the spring nuts broke on me and I wasn't sure of the screw material provided in the winjet kit I got from amazon. Was able to mount the fog lights without taking off the bumper like a few other diy fog light installs. Last edited by Holyshiba; 07-26-2015 at 03:20 AM. Reason: Forgot to add something |
