Alright I got someone to cover me from 6 to 9p. Let's caravan from au79 (our usual meet) and drive to longo.

Let's meet at au79 @ 6:00. We will roll out at 6:15p and drive there. Not too far of a drive so we can just take local.

This seems like a short event so we don't wanna be too late and miss out on stuff haha

I guess we can do this when the weather isn't as crazy humid/hot.

I have not used a Surface Prep Mitt before so I can't say how well these work or don't work. I saw one of these the other night at Autozone and almost pulled the trigger. Then I thought, "whose car am I going to test this on?" Seems to me the Surface Prep Mitt is like a "user friendly" alternative to the clay bar kit. In the long run you might save a few bucks as well being washable/reusable all for around $25.

When I do a "full detail" I will use a clay bar kit to clean the contaminates off the clear coat. I never reuse a clay bar from previous jobs.

As far as car care products go, I'm not loyal to any one company. My kit has Meguiars, Mothers, and Stoner just to name a few. These are readily available almost anywhere.
