Digital speedo is probably in such a good position (read: center) so you don't have to look away to see your speed. Hence, useless.

It was everything I expected it to be AND MORE!!!

The clutch bites fairly high though (especially compared to a V160), but that was my only driving issue.

HVAC isn't bad, the Toyota T's look wack but it's meh, and the Analog Speedo is totally useless. But everything else is tip top!


Btw, Cowboy Scion in Dallas is selling this car for MSRP+Dest+$499 Tint+TTL. No markup, just tint. So it was $25kish which isn't bad. I wanna pick it up so bad, but I must wait! And I want some WRB action....

How'd that tint look? The ultramarine I am hopefully getting today or tomorrow has that installed on it already.

in other news....need to get back to running, and damn do I hate WPF controls sometimes....xaml binding is black magic.

Well, the HVAC buttons aren't as cheap feeling as I initially though, so I was pleased with that.

The fake Carbon Fibre T's design on the dash is a little tacky looking, but it's livable. I prefer the BRZ Silver one, or maybe just a flat black one.

And the Analog Speedo is lined up in such a way that 40MPH is pretty much pointing down, so it's kinda awkward to look at. And if I remember correctly, it had the T design on it (like the dash) which made it somewhat difficult to read the numbers. The Digital speedo was so good that it made the analog one basically unnecessary.

The tint looked alright... It wasn't completely black though, it was almost yellowish, so I was kind of off-put by that.

Another thought,

Some guy tried to 1up me at the gym today by trying to run faster on the treadmill (I was at a 7:30min mile speed). He lasted only 10 mins while I was treading along towards the 30min mark.

All I gotta say is there is no one in my local gym that can outrun me for long periods of time so don't even try guy; I go 12 rounds and then some.

- Ha. I'm leaning towards this already.

- I actually never liked when some stranger gets on the treadmill next to me when there are other free ones around to choose from. But a part of me likes it cause then my competitive side gets the best of me. So then I have to one up them by either running the longest time or the fastest for the longest time.
Its funny to me when some teen tries to out due themselves in the beginning by setting the treadmill up at high speed. Eventually in like 1-3 minutes they can't keep up and just give up then.... morons.

In running news.

From what I can remember, if I was on treadmill I would start off with 1 minute of speed walking on the highest elevation setting there was, then bring the elevation to half of what it was and leave it there and begin my jogging at level 7 for 9 minutes. Then move up to level 9 or 10 (depending how I feel that day) for 10 minutes and then I go down to level 8 for 7 minutes. Then for the last 3 minutes I leave those for full on sprinting at level 15.
I can't remember my best time since I stopped running this year. But I bet if I go back on it now, I'll probably be gassed out in 10 - 15 minutes.

Well....that sucks. Fortunately it's only $100 or so to get that stripped and black put in if it doesn't look right.
