Hey Lonewolf, we should try to find someone that can make the fog light housing for the FR-S

What do you mean? Like a dark housing or bezel for the fogs?

No, the actual housing for the fog lights
Example:

Scion FR-S

GT86

See the fog light housings?

Also...

I made a quick chop to have an idea of how awesome blacked housings look

I know that foglights will soon be a factory or port option for the FRS, and I believe that you can order the parts from Toyota right now if you don't want to want for Scion to make them available.

Yeah that would be an awesome deal, Tanabe Sustec components for my Celica had a very high level of engineering/ quality and finish. Great stuff and really lightweight.

All of these companies have great products/ reputations. I would love to be a part of thia buy unfortunately for the car guy in me, im on the East Coast =/.

I cant wait for chips and piggybacks to come out- especially for supercharger /turbo kits.

This is going to be one of the most modifiable cars of all time. In a matter of time there will be a huge selection of every imaginable component. A lot of it will be extremely high quality and when this car is mmodified right, it will be able to compete with cars FAR above its pay grade.

Cant wait for so many things... this platform is the answer to our prayers

RedLine Tuning Hood Quick Lift

I contacted Brian at Redline Tuning searching for a hood quicklift for the new FRS. My 2006 Sienna Limited and my older daughters 2008 Scion TC both have them, they work well. He sent me this email:

"We are very interested in developing a system for the FR-S, we just can’t get one of these vehicles. If you happen to be part of any internet forums or groups (or your daughter) for the new Scion, please post looking for a volunteer near us in Dexter, Michigan. Development time is about 2 hours and the person will receive the system for free for their time. Otherwise, just check our site every once in a while, hopefully we will find one later this summer. "

So...Anyone live near Dexter Michigan ?

I know there is a company located in Sealy, Tx that will be developing performance parts for the Fr-s/BRZ. They are called DDPR (DD Performance Research). They made the first and only aftermarket intake manifold for my 2002 Celica gts. It was extremely nice and made a huge difference on my car.

They just opened up a shop that has a dyno in it. Just thought I would share with everyone else.
