Any motors built for big HP on pump gas?
I live in a e85 deprived part of the country. Has anyone played with a built motor and 93 pump gas. Looking for some results not just speculation.

Whats high horsepower in your opinion? I know a few guys making 400+ on 91 on FBM 9.5:1 built motors

500 would be nice, would like to stay at 10:1 or above, I know there is probably a choice to make there.

Considering other 4cylinders can break into 600+ on pump im hoping this engine can do the same, if not better thanks to the DI. Im in the same boat with no e85 local to me so im interested in some built pump gas numbers as well.

Sleeved it could possibly break into the 600s, I dont know of many people that make that power on E85 much less pumpgas. If I wanted to make that type of power Id just order barrels of e85 its like 2 bucks more per gallon than what it is at the pump. E85 just gives you that extra buffer

Sleeves are not the concern here, I want the convince of using the stations right here in town for some fun. I do have a flex fuel kit to allow for even more power when I can get my hands on it.

we did 500 on 9:1 with a 6466 with full blown cams. 93 octane. its been a while, id have to dig up the dyno sheet and the rest of the info. it was on motec, but that wouldnt make much of a difference anymore with all the new ecutek revisions. this was like 2 years ago. it was built for a lot more but the guy kind of disssapeared

I been sitting here thinking, would it be possible to run on 100% DI for the pump gas and then possibly use the port injection for water/meth? Has anyone found the max capabilities of the DI yet?

Correct. 6262, 10:1, e85. I'll try to dig up the 93 octane 9:1 dyno. It's been a while like I said, so it could be gone by now
