Lol 370z. It's a GT car to be compared with the likes of the mustang V6 or GT.

Fanboys will always backup their car with enormous amounts of bias until their blue in the face.

Just the Toyota version (called the GT86 RC, not sold here).

Subaru also offers has a track-focused version (BRZ RA), but that one comes with the standard torsen LSD, along with some other nice track upgrades (air-liquid oil cooler, roll cage, 4-pt harness, etc.) Unfortunately not sold here either.

My buddy got one for autocross purposes. That thing is a boat and the diff feels open pretty much instantly when you load it up. The power steering reservoir boils up like chemicals reacting in an enclosed chamber. We had back to back drivers and it hit limp mode...

So I finally took a 370z sports package for a test drive today. Wow, I love the power. Night and day difference when comparing 200hp to 332hp. The clutch is so soft like the twins. The gear lever feels kinda numb, smooth but lacks feed back when I was shifting. It's not like the twins where it feels more connected. The steering wheel feels great, so was the communication from the road. Holy crap, is the road noise horrible. My WRX with all the 4 windows down was more quiet then the Z with its windows up. If you want a quiet sports car, do not get the Z. I do however like how compact and sporty the Z felt inside. The seats are great and comfy. Talk about blind spots, holy crap. You turn your head to the left and you won't see anything at all. That back pillar and rear struct bars take up your vision. Rear camera highly recommended. Overall, the Z is an outstanding car, for everyday driving if I was a single guy, I would honestly take a 370z over the twins. However, in the price point of the Z, I would rather buy a used M3. And that is what I am aiming for. I want the M3 but I am still holding out for that BRZ STi.

Pretty much why I traded a 2013 Z for a '14 3.8 Gen Coupe, just so much a better DD. Have all the power with 300% the comfort for the same money.

It does not bother you that the 3.8 weight in @3500lbs?

I test drove a Genisis and it was nice but it felt too numb and "floaty".

Z is over 300lbs lighter and the twins are ~800lbs lighter.

Naaaa....I kinda like. Its still got 350Hp and 300TQ, so it gets up and goes. And the ride is softer, its a much better DD for traffic heavy south Florida. I feel the weight a little compared to the Z, but its so much more comfortable.

The Z is not heavy. That resistance you feel is not as much from weight as it is the wide azz STICKY tires hugging it to the ground. I'm sure if the Z was on Prius tires, it would feel more nimble and tossable.

Visibility isn't stellar, but with proper mirror positioning. I find offensive driving to be easy.

I do recommend back up camera.

A gencoupe can't give the experience of the Z.

The extra 121lbs of torque make this car more exciting to drive.

Whoever said its boring in the street must not know how to drive. I'm always going from second third and fourth gear. It corners just as good as a brz going in, Coming out it needs correction due to globs of power.
Since I have the paddle shifted version. I can tell you it's pretty fast. Substantially faster than the manual. .4 seconds faster.

FRS is a great car. Nimble and fun. If you don't care about torque at all. I recommend it. If u wanna feel some Buckin' in your ride. Get a Z.

Paddle shifted version?

You mean automatic?

I agree, thats why I got rid of the 370. Admittedly a better sports car than the Genesis. But the Z cant give the experience of a Genesis. Which, for ME, is FAR better suited for heavy south Florida traffic.
