Question Newb question for RomRaider with Openflash

I'm seem having trouble loading RomRaider Files from Openflash. I've downloaded the latest RomRaider. Loaded the definitions in the romraider folder for for ecu and car definitions to work properly. I tried using the files from OpenFlash version 2.067, but keep popping up an error message after adding the XML file and going to back to reopen. Any help would be appreciated.

I understand the apply and save. What is the name of the file from OFT to load the definitions? I'm using the v 2.067 folder.

With that error message, if the .xml file is the right one and loaded properly, likely you have an unbalanced <table> xxxx </table> set of tags somewhere. I sometimes get these if I've messed with the .xml file and have left a tag open. They can be a real pain to find. Try finding another working .xml file for your ROM to start off with - it'll save you a lot of time.

ZA1JD00D is my cal file for my 2015 Scion FRS. Does that have to be the definition file to match with whatever Openflash has to edit in RomRaider?

ok make sure you unzip the v2.06 tune pack

their should then be a couple of folders

bin which containf the tune roms

xml containd the definitions

you need to point romraider to the exact definiton file not just the folder

eg ig you using ZA1JB01C rom then you need to point to matching definition file.

you need to set up defs first before you can open rom.

You'll need to use a xxxD00D.xml to open the ROM. If you open another .xml file (such as xxxB00D.xml) with a text editor and edit the "B00D" text info to read "D00D", save file as D00D.xml; you might be in luck and have a lot of addresses that are the same.

If you have an OFT then contact the oft guys send them your stock rom D00D and they will make you up a tuned rom.

if you dont have oft then you will have to make your own

use this def below to open your stock D00D rom

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/TD...R_ZA1JD00D.xml

then you will have to manually copy and paste all the changed tables from a say B01D rom into the D00D rom

to find the changed tables you will need to compare a stock and tuned B01D.

Do not flash a B01D rom to a car running D00D they are not directly compatable due hardware changes to vehicle

That's weird, we have offering tune file support for D00D roms since 10/6/15. But for some reason, there was no D00D XML file in the download folder. An oversight on our part. If you need this XML, email me at shiv@openflashperformance.com and I'll send it to you. It will be available for download in the next version of the OTS map folder.

Thank you Shiv,Steve99, and ztan and everyone else for their support. I was able to upload the xml file successfully. I'm very excited to have this done. I'll start getting into forums on tuning.
