Has anyone tried taking off our emblems and paiting them black? I want to take them off but im too scared to break something. Want to have black scion emblems but still keep that led glow.

The 10 series emblems have an led attached to them so they dont just come off like the regular scion emblems.

i believe it leaves a 3rd hole you will have to plug. i found a light up toyota emblem from sparkstoyota.com but I am going to try to splice it into the brake lights like you do for the valenti or ijdm 3rd brake light.

So this happened today. Going to alter it, considering doing a different logo. Btw, if anyone changes their panel to an aftermarket piece, I may be interested in buying your stock one; then I wouldn't have to make up my mind on a logo.
