I've got some sort of pricing from my friend who is a car broker for Standard (GT) model.
He said it will be 40k driveaway but there is no pricing for Luxury (GTS) model. It is already looking quite pricey. |

so 40k on road for manual GT = around $36,990 + ORC.
which is what they said when the 86 is priced below the Golf GTI. and GTS will therefore likely to be $44k + ORC = $48k drive away. in which case, thanks but no thanks. EDIT: got beaten by sticky. i would be really surprised that the GTS is only $4k over GT. the difference in Japan is more like AUD$7k. however they have added a few stuff in the GT (eg. leather steering wheel, audio + 6 speakers) and taken a few from the GTS (eg. rear spoiler, underbody panels) |
