Sounds like my favourite martini recipe. Good chilled gin that is poured into a glass near a bottle of vermouth.

Unless it's the SE with sport/appearance package the Focus is nothing special.

Man, today I parked my car with the front bumper poking a tiny bit into a driveway that was honestly really really wide, person who lives there decides to complain and I get a 100 dollar ticket. Okay, I fucked up, I didn't even know you could be cited for that, but I probably should've, whatever.

I pull out my phone to use Fixed because it's free and why not (parking tickets are too expensive anyways and I've gotten legitimately bullshit ones before, I think it's good to put extra administrative load on the city so that they are more careful about giving tickets out), and the woman who called in the ticket comes out of her house and screams at me "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TRYING TO blah blah blah THATS SO SHITTY OF YOU, JUST OWN IT YOU BLOCKED OUR DRIVEWAY blah blah KARMA IS A BITCH"

Karma is a bitch? You got your car into your driveway totally fine without any difficulty and I'm paying the sleazy government 107 bucks, pretty sure the person with karma debt is you not me. I would never call in a complaint for a blocked driveway unless my driveway was...you know, actually blocked. If it's a super narrow one then yea, if you block a few inches that's pretty ****ish because it actually causes a problem.

Scotch, Laddie! Straight up, no ice, just a wee dram every now and again.

By the way, when James Doohan died (the original Scottie on Star Trek), five towns in Scotland tried to claim that Scottie was born there. Not James Doohan, mind you, who was after all Canadian, but the character from Star Trek. This was in about 2006. It did not seem to bother them at all that "Scottie" will not be born for another 200 years! When the time comes, he WILL be born in their town.

If you are not a RWD elitist the Focus ST will rock your world with it's performance and build quality.
The lesser trims not so much.

Entitlement and jackassery at it's finest. Sorry that you got slapped with such a stupid ticket. :/

Meanwhile, I took a ride in a Corolla S today. Not going to lie, sport mode that fucker in manual and holy hell, that gave me a few grins. Still no where near as much SPG (smiles per gallon) as the FRS but it's no joke.
