If you log "fuel sys status" you'll be able to see when the ecu transitions from closed loop fueling to open loop fueling.

I believe 4 indicates open loop, 2 is closed loop and i think 0 or something is cold-start/warm up. Double check this information in the "maf scaling" thread.

Yes I know, I've been logging that. I actually went back and looked through the logs and I guess you're right, seems that 30% is the transition point. Could have sworn I saw differently when grabbing low-speed data for the VGI tool. Meh.

Thanks

OK, pretty new to this. Should I be concerned? Totally stock car (intake|exhaust). Just put on 80 miles since my first Tune (D00C). Running Shell 92 OCT. 1AM has been as low as 46, gradually creeping up but seems to be staying around the 80 mark. Gas? Find a 91 tune or just let it keep learning?

Go with a 91 tune. A constant IAM of 0.8 indicates steady knock. Alternately, you could log Load, RPM, FLKC, and FBKC, and take timing out of your current tune in the problem spots.

Hey, I've been running Stg2 UEL 91 OCT tune running Shell 91 OCT for a few days. finally decided to do a good data log on it and it seems to be knocking a bit. any input would be very appreciated.

(currently have MXP UEl header & OP, stock mid pipe, corsa cat back, stock intake)

You don't have much knock in that log, but being that your IAM is around .7 you definitely had some knock prior to the logging. Ideally when logging you want your IAM to be at 1, and log full throttle from 2000-7400 rpms in 3rd gear at least once. Your IAM is around .7 and you did casual driving. You did log the correct parameters though.

You could also try running different gas and see if that helps. I've had good luck on petro 94.

*quick update*

Started using Petro Canada Ultra 94 Octane (was using Shell 91 previous), looks like the knocking has pretty much stopped and IAM has leveled out at 1. Will continue to log during the week and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the tips and advice guys, I appreciate it!

Canadian B.C. car here, worried about the 94 octane Chevron gas. IAM went down to 0.98 and then recovered. Should I be concerned?

94 octane gas is only available at Chevron. (Also does not have ethanol content)
Running OFT Stage 2 EL tune.
