It may or may not yield any success! I'm saying fuck it since I'm usually playing loud, annoying EDM anyways. As long as it doesn't affect the car in any mechanical function, eh....
EDM? Damn good thing we don't ride around together! One of us would not be happy at all I think.

I would never have asked for it to be done but since he offered I figured why not.

Look up service bulletin number SSB-0023-12 when you find this you can also see 10 other TSB's. It says only 2013's are associated with this TSB, I have an '15 that chirps so these are not totally accurate. The complaint section is comical as well.

Who the hell is that? lol

I listen to other stuff also... I only put on EDM when I'm in need of a pick me up during mundane drives.

I'm saying fuck it to mine because of straight pipe exhaust. Can't hear shit anyways, being that I've had six years of also shooting cannons and rifles, most of the time without hearing protection

I use REC90 and it goes away. I used standard 93 for the first 2000 miles, switched to REC90, and chirping went away after 1/8th of a tank. Was completely empty on fill up.

Went through 1 month with no chirping, and then needed to go back to 93, because REC90 had jumped $1.00 since I got the car in March.

Within 1/8th of a tank of 93, chirping came back, full force.

I use REC90 on the weekends when I cruise. It keeps the crickets away.

I've tried StaBil 360 ethanol treatment, and a few other Advanced Auto Parts formulas, but nothing has made much of a difference.

Proven or disproven is up to those of you who try something out. Be careful with the chemicals, but REC90 should be suitable for the car, and I can personally vouch that in my experience, it makes a difference 100% of the time. If you do not get the same results with REC90, try another gas station if there is one.

I wonder if someone replaced the pump and only used non-ethanol gas if they would ever hear crickets .... hmm

FWIW - With the price point of $11.00 more a fill up - I'm dealing with crickets instead...

HPFP replaced this morning and no more crickets. Sounds so much better than the previous swarm of insects that lived under my hood. Let's just hope it lasts...

We'll be here when it comes back in a couple hundred miles or so. Total waste of time and effort.

It probably will come back, but the dealer is 3 miles from my work and they gave me a free loaner for the day. So I have about 20 minutes of time and minimal effort put into it. Even for a few hundred miles i would say it was worth it.

Haha... You should fill up with the noisiest gas possible and keep going back to the dealer every time it comes back. Just be fucking relentless about it until the service manager cringes every time you roll up.

He has what.. 2 years left on warranty?

Trolling the dealer for the next 2 years... I would be pissed if I was the manager lol

It's what we would all have to do until they actually do something about it.

We have to be noisier than the crickets.
