You went with One Toyota in oakland instead right?
Yeah my car is at the port right now, so it should be on it's way to the dealer anytime between tomorrow and a week or 2. Sounds like they are holding the cars for either the manual thing, or the actual launch date of the car on 6/1 since dealers had started selling early.

TJ said the other car is still at the port, and has been there for 10 days so far. So the waiting game is a fun one.

lol

It could also be Los Gatos Creek though for those of us in Campbell, and then there's always the "Dub C" which is Walnut Creek. My 2 year old doesn't like the word Walnut so he just calls that "The creek."

"We going to the creek daddy?" Sure thing little buddy, I'll let Dawson know you're on the way.

Sadly that joke will always go over his head...

Similar situation! Dealership doesn't know where the car is...and cannot confirm if it is still at the port or on a truck.

I bought my car on Saturday. Dealer informed me it would come in this past Monday. Never did and dealer has no clue where the car is. Wasted 3 hours.

They told me to come back next morning. Car still not there. Wasted another 2 hours. Demanded a rental car since it's now a work week and don't want to trouble my brother and friend anymore to make the 40mi commute over.

Now driving a Mercedes C250 rental that the dealership is covering. But dammit... I was so hoping to get my car today (My birthday)

It will be worth the wait, that's for certain. I was calling just about every day this week to make sure they didn't forget about me. Luckily he was a very trustworthy guy. I have been hearing from the dealers in San Diego that these cars are being delivered unannounced. So I guess they really don't know when to expect the car. Mine came in on Memorial day, but the service dept. was closed, so they couldn't release it to me until the next day. Hang in there.

Norway huh? I'm not sure what sort of "summer" you folks have up there, so are you planning on swapping out the FR-S's stock summer tires? If so, what with?
