Buying a house sucks. About half way through it I almost said screw it. I'm just going to rent forever.

Wow that's a very nice place. Hopefully you're getting it for a good price, too!

That amount of land is almost unheard of where I come from. City boys.. Hah.

Thanks, I certainly am a big fan. It's amazing what kind of place you can get for cheap when you're out in the boonies. I was talking to a buddy who lives in Seattle and his 1 bed apt. has a rent payment on par with the mortgage rate of a 3,500 sqft. house on a 1/2 acre lot where I live.

House is more important though. I'll be working Friday and Saturday, taking Sunday off. Though working graveyard, that doesn't matter at all lol

Fair enough, in this case it's a bit more 1950's and less 1850's. Although you can still find cabins like that in the woods, no lie.

Thanks Echo, when we started going through the house I felt like a little kid, I explored every single nook and keep finding cooler and cooler stuff the more I looked.

I just bought a place in may. really wishing I had held out for a flat driveway. it's not a steep hill but it makes backing in a real PITA.
