TL;DR we'll see if I even receive the FP.
No tracking is a big no no if paying with paypal. All buyer has to do is say he never got it to paypal and instant refund

If i was you i wouldnt bother shipping it back unless hes paying for it. His fault for shipping something without funds first

Given that he has now given me negative trader feedback, without even contacting me directly in the first place, that was my plan. I can understand putting someone on blast in public if this was a legit scam. But, I never asked the guy to ship the part. All I wanted was a shipping quote. I specifically asked for his PayPal, even offered to pay the 3% seller fees. Then he asked for payment in an etransfer, which I wasn't totally comfortable with. I had planned to call him, but between working until 9PM alberta time, so 11pm ontario time, breaking my phone the very next morning and not having reliable internet access, it slipped my mind, I couldn't call him and he didn't even let me know the item "shipped" until this very public declaration of anger.

conversation stating contact by text would be best

tracking number was to be sent after payment was received

tracking # 0316725001000641 shipped with canada post on sat @ 11:57

picture of front pipe before packaging in 30 ft of thick bubble wrap

seems your doing allot to discredit me but in the end I have nothing to hid. I fulfilled my end of the bargain you chose to not reply to texts after a price was agreed and at no point after I requested a payment via e transfer did you say you would prefer paypal.

Literally the first message I sent to you, I asked to use paypal haha. Take a hike bro, and I'll let you know my PayPal address so that you can send me money for the return shipping amount

And when I asked for e transfer did you say anything no you just agreed and then ceased all contact. That's fine don't worry about returning it the I'm already down 44 bucks just shipping it to you I'm not going to send you more money to screw me out of. Congrats you got me

TBH thread is making me laugh

1) Why would you not pay right away, if someone told me they were going to buy something then I would assume they had the money ready to go
2) Never ship something without receiving payment, I've done a few sales on this forum and it was mutually accepted that buyer pays through paypal and then within a day or two the seller ships it out
3) Tracking numbers are kind of a must, the only time I bought something that didn't have a tracking number, the seller took many pictures of the box and receipt!

Honestly I really couldn't care less about what the outcome is because both are kind of at fault...
And since this for sale thread has already been ruined and will likely be closed I'm just going to say that I bought an openflashtablet for my GF's BMW off the US classifieds on ft86club.com for $400USD shipped (which if you negotiate is the going price). Then shipped to CBI USA and picked up to bring across the border (didn't get charged with duty because plugged into car :3) do the exchange rate math and decide whether its worth it for you.
GLWS because what I just stated may be out of reach to some people or they are just too lazy and its a hell of a lot cheaper than getting it new.

agreed i should not have shipped the item without payment i was too trusting. no big deal to me in the end just warning others of this guy's untrustworthyness. I also did have a tracking number just was not going to give it to him until payment was received. It was posted above ^

@Canehda I assume you don't actually know what my circumstances are, but, I'll give you some insight. Where I was working when this all went down was north west of Fort McMurray, Alberta on an oil pipeline. To get into the work site every day, we had to do an hour long drive by truck, then another hour and a half by Argo. Cell reception was spotty at best between the camp I was sleeping at, and the work site. In order for us to make work related calls, we had to use a satellite phone.

I had the money ready to go, but due to circumstances already told, it wasn't the easiest thing to send payment.

I could get into this a lot more, but I have the feeling that it's too far gone now, so whatever. Good times had by all

well I don't want to be an ass but that is life man, there have been a couple times on this forum where I have found something to buy, had money ready, but been too busy to complete the deal through paypal so I just tell the seller I'm sorry but I'm busy, if the part is still there when I'm free I will buy it. Sometimes it sells, sometimes it doesn't. You are right though, I have no idea what the circumstance is so I won't comment further, just wanted reemphasize the rules that are stickied at the top of every classifieds subforum on ft86club.

Sounds like you were willing to send the money either way. Why not just pay the guy now and redeem yourself here?

@D88 @vleal12 for a part that I never asked to be shipped, a part that I was willing to send back to the dude, until he started spouting off in public, BEFORE EVEN GETTING HOLD OF ME IN PRIVATE. I don't give a fuck about his opinion, he fucked up by sending a part before receiving payment. There are plenty of people on here who have dealt with me and had easy processes.

As far as I'm concerned, I have nothing to redeem. If you don't want to deal with me, fine, I won't lose any sleep over that.
