With camber, anything is possible. However, I would stick with 265 unless you do a large roll/pull.

@Jive Turkey did you notice the car get much slower with the 18x9.5 with 265 all around I am n/a still so I am worried about making it unbearably slow with this heavier set up and taller gears.

down low, yes you do feel the weight, but its never unbearable where you really feel sluggish. once you're in 3rd+ don't even notice IMO. also depends on the type of wheel/tire you will run. stock weighs 42~lbs. mine is roughly 3lbs heavier per corner if i remember the weight correctly.

how much camber would you like to run. you would want a 255/35 atleast but with a +34 its kind of aggressive and you would need at least -2 in the rear and like -2.5 in the front for clearance purposes. rubbing also depends on your suspension and how soft/stiff it is. i'm on a 18x9.5 +40 with a 265 MPSS and i only rub on really harsh dips. regardless you will rub the rear bumper "tab" so you can go with a 255/35 for the meaty look but you'll need more camber. or go with a 245/40 tire that runs wide and have a slight stretch. |

anyone know what else i can do to prevent rubbing?Cause right now my fender is slowly chewing up the tires on dips/tight turns but driving on a nice even road is fine.
i have already rolled the front and shaved the rear & raised the car Front: 18x10+35 with AD08r 265/35 Rear : 18x10+40 with AD08r 265/35 Front Camber -2.5 Rear Camber -2 Ride Height : 345mm From Center Bore to Fender |

Meaty Tire Thread
Quote:
In the front the tires ever so slightly touch the spring perch when driving the car hard into turns and hit bumps mid turn and haven't seen any rubbing beyond a slight graze. I have taken the wheels off a few times just to check on them and the tires show no signs of any damage. Yes they are 245/45/17, Sumitomo hr-z iii. So they could fit differently than other brands.
