Has anyone found a solution to the ground/alternator noise when using the Alpine 445U mini amp?
I am considering upgrading to full-range speakers and powering them with the Alpine 445U.
I just want a more robust sound and more low end w/o any added weight to the car.
Also are there any competing amps that anyone has successfully used? I can't find much info on 15A Amps.

There is a pioneer amp that's rated 15 A. My ktp445u is set with gain at min on speaker level input and I don't really have noise anymore. I did when it was new, but broken in I don't anymore. Tbh if you run it on speaker level just resist the urge to apply gain

Hm, I have a line level converter from my old sub install. Do you think that would help?

Imo no, doing so adds an extra unnecessary component and point of failure in this case.
