Actually since each one of the wheels probably weights about 1/2 what the whole car does I doubt you could tip that thing if you had too.

The 86 fits the tuner/racing crowed that are the more hardcore, yet smaller market share of the general population. It fits into that "cool" section exactly where Toyota wants it.

It was never designed to be a massive number mover, Toyota already has the Camry, Corolla and Prius for your average job driver. It also has the RAV4 and Tocoma for the SUV and Truck market.

The 86 fits the exact market Toyota wants. Its the cool return to form racing car they want at an entry level price. Its not going anywhere, nor will they ever turn there track racing car into a AWD rally car. They will just build something new.

You just hide from one where there are a lot of turns and the other where there are plenty of speed bumps. They will never catch you.

When I see someone speculate (which happens far to often with the 86) this is all that pops into my head lol.

Talked to my friend who knows a guy who works at the dealer. He said the 2017 model year is supposed to be the last year, something about a final edition model.

Well, i speculate that this car will have a 6 year cycle, so this could be true if we count the small amount of 2012's
