It's really close. As it sits now the bumper touches the oil cooler. I don't have everything bolts up yet, I wanted to get it started tonight. Which I did and no leaks!

I might mess with it some more tomorrow. But maybe I'll just leave it open with a screen. I don't use fog lights anyway. I have to install my km4sh flares tomorrow so we'll see how much time I have for the fog light.

I don't see the oil cooler listed on the JDL site.
Anywhere I can get more info on it?

Are there other decent locations that wouldn't necessitate removing the fogs?

I think there's only three, that I know of, either side on front bumper and right smack I front of every other cooling device. That's for air coolers, then there's the water/coolant ones.

I tried to mount my Perrin up front and that didn't work. So either the sides ooorr get the Jdl crash bar and mount it to that like I did. I think their bar has holes for it. I'm not a hundred percent sure if they implemented that after their first run

I'd wait until next week before writing it off. They are going to get a BRZ in next week to see what they can do for the fogs. I don't use mine so the extra air flow to cooler is probably better anyway. Once I get my flares on I'll go back to the dogs unless jdl figures it out first.

That's the plan. I'll see what they come up with. I don't plan on buying the crash bar, but might have to if there's nothing else.

It is all pressurized so that will work fine. There was a certain multiple times banned member who had an oil cooler mounted over the transmission like the intercooler on a WRX/STI.

Were they banned for the placement, or some other reason?

I think it was for other reasons, you could mount your oil cooler on the roof if you want and no one could ban you for its lol

Also bad news brz fellows. The fog light doesn't fit. At least without modifying something. I haven't looked yet. Time to start the car though!

Wouldn't happen to have more pics of the oil cooler lines routing? I like that they drop right under the intake, where do they go after that?
