Looks like they're going for Tesla-esque integration. A forum post on nasioc says they're even working on air suspension control.

Interesting concept. Wonder what the planned price point it is? I love the IDEA of a 10" Display and Can Bus interface. It would be great if you could flash the ECU's Roms and monitored additional parameters similar to OFT.
The idea of my Cars brains being connected to the Internet makes me a bit nervous though. Now my car becomes "hackable" by someone across the globe. Wonder what they are doing about security? Since you can do Environmental controls through the interface, I'm assuming that the current ones will be removed and replaced with the Brainiac. If the Brainiac goes on the fritz, it could be very unpleasant in the middle of the Winter\Summer. Just some things to think about |
