Nope works like a charm There is a recessed portion that allows the piece to slide up into. The overall height is dropped by 0.5 inch from stock. Throws are very precise as the weight creates a nice counter balance.

Haha thanks! It's definitely much larger than stock, sits a little higher too, but that's perfect for me. If I get a short shifter later on this will be perfect for it.

Looks sweet man. I think you had a good idea with getting it painted. I think they should make this an option like they do with the colors on some of their other knobs.

Technically this actually is an option, I bought this as is from @Raceseng. They powdercoated it for me and yes you're going to pay extra for it, but it was worth it to me. Ask Jarrett for a link if you want it done. You could search for it on their site, but better make sure they know about it first, easier to handle.
