If you were there on Saturday and don't see your car, let me know, I may have missed you while I was going through the shots. I also took very little yesterday due to the heat and leaving early, so I apologize if I missed anyone.

Had a lot of fun this weekend! Weather was hot, but somewhat tolerable, and good company from both NorCal and SoCal.

Here's my best lap from the event:

I may sign-up for 86CUP in December at Laguna. Do I just sign-up under Chrono group when I register? Do I need any special timing equipment? I think I'm in the Stock Class - all I have is Perrin CAI (+0.25 points), StopTech SP Pads, Motul 600 RBF, Motul Gear 300 Diff/Tranny Fluid, and Michelin PSS tires on stock wheels... Also assuming don't need SFI rated gear or HANS since running in Point-By and Open groups? Thanks!

Sweet Katherine! We always need more NorCal 86 participants!

There will be an option for Chrono when you sign up. It looks like you will be in stock class, and nothing special is required more then a normal track day. Also, for $20 you can rent a transponder for timing if you don't already have one, or an AIM solo DL.

Go to the Chrono Series/86CUP Vehicle classification page, and fill out the form to confirm what class you belong in. http://www.chronoseries.com/classer.php?car=ft86

no special safety or HANS gear required. You will need to rent the transponder in order to be scored, unless you have an AIM Solo timer. Those who use AIM instead of the transponder take a +0.1s penalty to their best time.
