I briefly had a hard top just like that once. Had a V6 that you could walk around on 3 sides to work on it.

Ugh... The process of buying a new home is about as arduous as trekking through the Sahara with no map and having to drink your own piss for survival.

Here's how it's gone so far:
1. Get pre-qualified from lender
2. Wade through piles of stupid homes to find one you like
3. Write offer
4. Write counter offer
5. Write counter counter counter offer
6. Get inspection
7. Surprise! Inspection problems found/Lender won't finance/Seller accepts other offer
8. Return to start, do not pass GO, pay $200

Very handy for sneaking into the Drive-In with half your classmates.

We had a looooooong wait on both houses till we finally got an accepted offer on the house we wanted, but no insurmountable problems along the way (though patience was required to get cash for all the fail in this latest house - I've now had to replace 2/3 of the light-bulbs, and 4 rooms were simply burnt out and "eh, not going to fix" - not to mention rotting porch, leaking toilets, and a garage wall that had been driven into, breaking the electric run and exposing wires to the elements... but not worth fixing...)

Selling the first home? Much worse. First offer would have been good if it were a foreclosure with mold damage and being sold "as-is" ... uh? then months of waiting, no response to a counter offer (still low but workable) and ... sigh. WTF people. It's more house and cheaper than anything you could rent nearby, but it's still too small and too much?

Fingers crossed no problems arise between now and Jul 29.

And, though lots of kids around, we only got to give candy to the UPS man last year. Well, I assume he was the UPS man, maybe it was someone dressing up? I guess the delivery was legit so must have been real. Nice costume though, I hear it draws in the women?! It wasn't a Buick he was driving though. Probably could have fit more bodies in the back of his truck.

where were we?

Pass weekend, had SCCA Match Tour in my region. Had few FRS came to join in my class.

Their fully prepped FRS vs my not prepped BRZ... in the end, 4 seconds difference between them and me.

What's that tell you? Don't forget to bring one of these... specially temp is hitting near 110!!!
